Welcome to Jagriq. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Deephash Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Jagriq", "we", "us"), which operates the Jagriq platform. By creating an account or using Jagriq, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be at least 18 years old and competent to contract under Indian law. If you use Jagriq on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation, and "you" includes that organisation.
2. What Jagriq is
Jagriq is an AI-powered legal research and practice platform for India. Depending on your plan and entitlements, it offers citation-verified legal research, court-format drafting, litigation and hearing management, document intelligence, and practice and billing tools, built on a corpus of Indian judgments and statutes.
Jagriq is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney–client relationship or any legal privilege. AI-generated output is decision-support and may contain errors — you must independently verify all citations and generated content with a qualified legal professional before relying on it or using it in any proceeding. You remain responsible for all legal work product and for your professional obligations, including under the rules of the Bar Council of India and duties of client confidentiality and privilege.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use. If you manage an organisation account, you are responsible for your users' access and for configuring permissions and ethical walls appropriately.
4. Your content and the rights you grant us
You retain ownership of the documents and data you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host and process your content solely to provide the service to you, and, where you enable them, to pass content to the sub-processors that power those features (see our Privacy Policy). We do not use your content to train AI models. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to upload it and to authorise its processing, including any consents required from third parties.
5. Acceptable use
You will not: use Jagriq for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose; upload content that infringes the intellectual-property, privacy or confidentiality rights of others; upload malware; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other customers' data; or reverse-engineer, scrape, overload or disrupt the service or its security. 6. Third-party services you connect
Where you connect a third-party service (such as email, calendar, messaging or storage), your use of that service is governed by its own terms, and you authorise Jagriq to access it as needed to provide the features you enable. We are not responsible for third-party services.
7. Fees and plans
Jagriq offers a free tier and optional paid plans. Where a paid plan applies, its price and its billing, cancellation and refund terms are shown at the point of purchase and form part of your agreement with us. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
8. Intellectual property
The platform, its software, interface, content and trademarks are the property of Deephash Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and its licensors. These Terms grant you no rights in them except to use the service as permitted. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use them to improve Jagriq, without obligation to you.
9. Data protection and confidentiality
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the DPDP Act, 2023. Where you use Jagriq to process personal data of your own clients, you are the Data Fiduciary and we act as your Data Processor under our agreement with you (a Data Processing Addendum is available on request). We treat your content as confidential and apply the security measures described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Availability and disclaimers
We work hard to keep Jagriq available and reliable, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and we may occasionally need to perform maintenance or make changes. We may add, improve, change or discontinue features or plans over time; where a change would materially reduce a paid feature you are actively using, we will give you reasonable prior notice. Support is provided in line with your plan. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated, including as to the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 where it applies), Jagriq will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify Jagriq against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your content infringing the rights of a third party.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Jagriq at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the platform or its users. On termination, your right to use the service ends; you are responsible for exporting any data you wish to keep, and we will handle your data as set out in the Privacy Policy. Terms that by their nature should survive — including Your Content, Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnity and Governing Law — survive termination.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Kolkata have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer-protection law that gives you additional rights.
15. General
We may update these Terms or the service; we will post material changes on this page with a revised "last updated" date, and continued use means you accept them. Notices: we may give you notices by email to your account address or by posting them in the service, so please keep your email current. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition or reorganisation; you may not assign them without our consent. We will not use your name or logo as a customer reference without your consent. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. These Terms and the policies they reference are the entire agreement between us on this subject. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
16. Grievance redressal and contact
